This circular diagram has three outer rings. The innermost ring represents the three new programs of Talent, Insight and Connection of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). The circle enclosed by the innermost ring circle contains brief descriptors of each program: Talent equals attraction, retention, and development; Insight equals new knowledge and understanding; and Connection equals flow and exchange of knowledge. The middle ring contains SSHRC’s three broad outcome areas, namely, developing talent, mobilizing knowledge, and building knowledge and understanding. The outer ring represents SSHRC’s commitment to implementing the Government of Canada’s three Science and Technology strategy advantages: entrepreneurial advantage, knowledge advantage and people advantage.
