Jeanette Dias D’Souza
Ms. Dias D’Souza is a strategic leader with experience that spans the public, broader public and private sectors. She is currently the Senior Vice President, Corporate Services and Group CFO at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) and FACIT. Her areas of responsibility include Finance, Human Resources, Corporate IT, Facilities, Legal, Privacy, Risk and Compliance and Administration and she has financial oversight for the group of companies and advises on emerging areas including geo-political risk and ESG.
Ms. Dias D’Souza previously held senior positions in the post-secondary sector where she was able to contribute her wealth of expertise. Before that her positions included being an Assistant Deputy Minister with the Ontario government, serving in several portfolios including Energy, Infrastructure, Consumer Services and Research & Innovation. Her past experience involves work in the portfolios of corporate tax, Information Technology, Treasury and Finance, and large-scale procurement. Ms Dias D’Souza’s interests focus on matters of governance, risk and accountability and she has shared her expertise by sitting on several audit committees. Dias D’Souza obtained her Bachelor of Commerce and Master of Education from the University of Toronto and holds a CPA designation as well as her ICD.D.
Ms. Dias D’Souza is a past member of the ICD (Ontario) Executive where she shared her expertise for six years, including establishing a new Chapter, and being a member of the NFP working group.
