SSHRC’s In Conversation With initiative returns this March, organized in partnership with The Conversation Canada.
This latest edition will begin with a live virtual event on March 5, 2025, at 12 p.m. eastern, featuring Jean-Marc Narbonne. Narbonne, from the Université Laval, is the recipient of SSHRC’s 2024 Impact Awards Gold Medal for his research in the field of Greek philosophy, particularly in exploring how it has influenced the development of contemporary Western democracy and culture. The event will be open to the public, with simultaneous interpretation and closed captioning available in both English and French. A recording will be available to watch on SSHRC’s Youtube channel shortly after the event.
In addition, as part of the series, SSHRC’s 2024 Impact Award winners will share their groundbreaking research by publishing articles on The Conversation Canada’s independent news platform, providing a unique outlet to highlight their work. These articles will explore a variety of topics that align with SSHRC’s commitment to advancing knowledge mobilization in the social sciences and humanities.
Stay tuned for updates on our 2025 edition, and get ready to join the conversation!
